It is stated previously that we really need to consume healthy foods to get enough nutrients for our body. Also, we can get it from vegetables, fruits, beans, and whole grains. However, there are still other nutrients that are needed by our body. They are calcium, fats, and liquid. Calcium is popularly known as an important nutrient that is needed by our body so that we can have strong bones in our healthy body. It is good at keeping our teeth’s health too. Then, how can we get enough calcium? Generally, we assume that calcium can be gained by drinking a lot of milk. That is why the habit of drinking milk can be so sporadic in our society. In fact, there are some better alternatives to take in order to supply more calcium for our body. It is true that the best sources to get calcium are fortified soy milk, collards, baked beans, and bok Choy. Supplements can also give us calcium and vitamin D too, but we do not need to consume it every day. The best source to supply our body with enough liquid is plain water. It means that we do not need to drink something sweet such as syrup or tea just to provide enough liquid. Water is the simplest and the most important source to provide enough liquid for our body. Then, we can get enough fats from fish, oil, and nuts.
